HTC Hero
The HTC Hero is the latest smartphone to take the world by storm. The specialities of the HTC Hero include the multi – touch input facility, a fully revamped user interface, support for flash applications and much, much more.
The HTC Hero is forecasted to be available to UK users by next month. The HTC Hero features a very impressive 5 megapixel camera, which promises crystal clear pictures. In addition, there is support for GPS and a digital compass is inbuilt into the phone. This will ensure that you can get directions wherever you go so that you won’t get lost. The touch screen is quite impressive, at a very good 3.2 inches. Availability of a 3.5 mm headset jack will please music lovers no end as they will be able to listen to songs using their favourite headset.
There is an in – built accelerometer which will facilitate auto – rotate of the screen to enable you to use your phone in portrait or landscape mode. The inbuilt memory available in the phone is 512 MB. This internal memory can be supplemented by the microSD memory card slot upto 16 GB.
The HTC Hero utilises an angled bottom. This construction has been facilitated to ensure that the phone will be a perfect fit with your face whenever you are attending to a call. In addition to this, the phone has a Teflon coating soft – touch. The screen is also smudge – repellant, which means that there won’t be any fingerprints on the screen.
The HTC Hero has a nice widgets interface. The customizable widgets include being able to view your Twitter profile with a single touch. Other widgets include calendar, weather reports, email inbox and latest news headlines. An incoming call or alarm can be silenced by turning the phone face down.
