Microsoft Brings a New Facebook Mobile Experience
Now that the folks at Microsoft have decided that the TV advertisement should be cut (to omit that part the many people consider as a promotion for sexting), we can now focus on the actual product at hand, the Microsoft Kin smart phones.
As busy as the advertisement was, it does paint a very detailed image of the target market for this mobile phone: the younger generation. Sure, there are plenty of people who love their iPhones and Androids and appreciate the importance and versatility of apps. But the rest of the market is composed of people who really have not much care about mobile platforms and other complicated things; they simply want to be able to access Facebook easily.
Is it that big of a market? Many analysts and studies state that the largest amount of internet traffic from mobile phones are people accessing Facebook (with Twitter being the second most accessed). In fact, some people cannot last an hour without posting an update to their profile page.
Sadly for this market, most options are pretty limited and in almost all cases, the choices are always expensive. Smart phones often come with high end specs that end up raising the price of the device. While anyone would be willing to invest in a good phone, the rest of the features go to waste since the owners do not need it.
This is why the Microsoft Kin One and Kin Two Pure are very useful smart phones. They are not the device of choice for tech-savvy individuals, but for the common folk, these are the best phones to get.
Posting updates, checking profiles and even sharing content are easy thanks to the simplified Loop system that allows you to easily drag and drop anything to anyone.
