Desk Phone iPhone Dock Turns the iPhone Old-school
Even though smart phones and other new-fangled devices are taking over the world, a traditional phone is still ever present in our homes and offices. This gave Kee Utility Inc the idea of bridging the old and the new together with their Desk Phone iPhone Dock.
Now what the Desk Phone iPhone Dock does is that it gives a physical cradle to your iPhone that allows you to access your contacts through your iPhone and contact them while using the Dock like a normal phone. Since the iPhone Dock also serves as a charging dock, the iPhone is always fully charged so you will not have to worry about getting cut off while talking to someone on the phone.
This would probably help you organize your work station better since you lose a separate phone, charging wires and other phone-related things such as a physical phone book. It also looks good in its stark white color as shown in the company’s official website (http://www.deskphonedock.com/).
The Desk Phone iPhone Dock as two stereo speakers, volume control, a microphone and an instant mute feature. It also has a provision for dual power sources in the form of a USB and AC power cord.
While there are no pricing details available as of now, the website says that it was made in Korea. “Designed in Seoul and made in Korea” to be precise. How that contributes to how sturdy or how good it is in practice is still anyone’s guess at the moment. They also have a disclaimer saying:
“Some features are subject to change and not available in all models. Design details may vary according to production model.”
Hopefully whatever features they remove are going to be replaced by something better because the features are quite bare at the moment.
