LG InTouch Max GW620
As soon as the word Android pops up, you know that a phone running on it will be reliable and hard working. Android is the operating system made by Google that more and more phone companies these days are implementing with their phones. Android is fast, powerful and has many more uses compared to other mobile phone operating systems. The new phone from LG, is built on the Android operating system, and is fast, efficient and cost effective.
The phone is available on both T-Mobile as well as Virgin Media. Featuring a 3 inch touch screen, the phone makes it easier than ever to see what you are doing, with all menus and applications being grouped accordingly, making it easier for you to navigate your way around the phone. The large 3 inch screen is ideal for viewing your pictures taken on the huge 5 megapixel digital camera implemented into the design of the phone.
You can upload your photos straight to popular sites such as Facebook, MySpace and Bebo, or transfer them across to your computer for editing. Alternatively you can send them to friends via the picture messaging facility that the phone has. The phone featured a slide out keyboard, designed to enable you to send the quickest texts and email messages. Each letter of the alphabet has its own individual key, so you never have to press a key 3 or 4 times before your chosen letter comes up. You can even write word documents on the phone, as it is basically like a mini computer.
“This is a symbolic launch for us. It signals the end of expensive and exclusive applications and the start of applications for everyone.
“Many people don’t actually know that the Android market offers an impressive 20,000 plus applications which are easy to download, and of which 65% are free – and this selection is growing every day!
“We are proud to bring out the LG InTouch Max which is a high performing and easy-to-use device that is perfect for those out there who want to experience the ever-growing and popular world of applications,” states John Barton, Sales and Marketing Director for LG Mobile.
The phone is currently available on T-Mobile. For £20 you receive the phone free of charge, and get unlimited data (meaning you can surf the internet for as long as you want for free). That contract is for 24 months. Alternatively if you choose to go with Virgin Media, you pay £22 a month for 18 months, with unlimited texts as well as unlimited data. There are no current plans to release the phone on a pay as you go tariff.
