HTC Smart: Benefits of a Compact Phone
HTC is trying to promote the smartphone as a user-friendly and financial-friendly device. While it is true in these aspects, the phone operates on a moderately limited operating system on the BREW platform for mobile phones. The phone is unusually focused on fun, and the user friendly apps for basic usage. It has been made clear the phone will be using a home screen page that will integrate all the basic components into one screen.
The Smart from HTC will be running on a 300MHz processor. On the face of the device, a 2.8 inch 329 x 240 pixel display is present. This is pretty impressive for such a small mobile phone but its display is decent. The camera with a 3 MP is just the icing on the cake when it is promoted at such a low price. Many are already saying that the mobile phone is comparable to Android sometimes, and the phone has the small menus on the lower part of the screen app. The phone looks like it is on a role for future prospects on the newer phones with its smooth and fluid graphics.
The mobile phone is headed for Europe and Asia, and so far I have found out that the phone will be somewhere in the areas of €200. Pretty cheap isn’t it? For those of you wondering, the phone will be running on Qualcomm’s BREW operating system, which is further evidence that the phone’s price should be relatively low. The memory in the internal is only 256MB but one can enlarge it with the microSD. A disadvantage is the fact the HTC has not mentioned whether or not it has GPS or Wi-Fi.
Everyone loves the GPS and Wi-Fi; these are the basics that make the new phones awesome. I do not know what I would do if my phone did not have Wi-Fi capability or GPS in the case I need some simple directions. Wi-Fi and GPS plays a fundamental role in mobile phones, and my guess is, HTC has factored this in for their sake. Even if the phone does not have the 2 features, the phone is ideal and suitable for those with a tight-budget.
HTC has responded to the customer demand on particular phones and they are working quickly to catch up and meet with the suggestions. The phone is experimental in nature and HTC will, no doubt, come out with a better phone based on the reviews and feedback of the current.
The design is adequately compact with the touch-screen features that integrate user-friendliness. HTC has 3 philosophies on the phone itself; “Stay Close”, “Discover the Unexpected”, “Make It Mine”. The three core values seem to put the consumers on their toes in waiting for the company to go ahead and make it available. Another great aspect of the phone is the fact it is customized at the user’s discretion. In case you are wondering, yes, the phone is compatible with most social networks such as; Twitter, Facebook, Email, texting, etc. So do not fret, the phone is awesome, cheap, and communication friendly.
