Samsung’s Going Fun, Flirty and Female

Samsung S7070 and S5150Samsung has just announced the launch of a fun, flirty phone, targeted specifically for the ladies. The Samsung S5150 Diva is one of two new phones in the company’s, yet to be released, Diva design line. The S5150 is a clamshell phone with an embossed finish. It is fashionable and would likely be considered a little over-the-top for male buyers. Samsung is not shying away from the fact that this phone was designed with the female buyer in mind. Nearly everything from the external design to the special features, is quite feminine.

The S5150 has a two display screens. The primary one is 2.2 inches wide. The secondary one is smaller and provides the user with basic information such as the time, the date and how much strength the battery has.

Some of the phone’s functions were also created with the fairer sex in mind. Samsung didn’t just add an embossed cover and quilt design with the aim at marketing it to women. No, there are some features included in the phone which will likely make it attractive to the female sex. Let’s begin with the specialty fonts. Fonts can be changed to look a bit more dramatic. There is also a wish list, which works perfectly for keeping shopping list. The ‘etiquette’ feature makes it possible for the user to quickly silence their phone so that they can avoid being rude or disruptive. Individuals can also emboss photographs taken on the phone’s 3.2 megapixel camera. The “fake call” feature is another uniquely feminine one. If a lady needs an excuse to end a conversation or simply get away, she can fake a call, giving her an excuse to do so.

The S5150 also comes with Bluetooth, a microSD slot for added memory capabilities and a speaker phone. Samsung has not decided on a price point.  What has been determined is that this phone will be launched in the first quarter of 2010. It will likely reach Europe first among some other great Samsung deals when you will most likely be able to get the Samsung S5150 Diva on contract.
