BOLT 1.6 Browser Now Available for Download

According to the announcements, the browser is complete with fully featured solutions for all mobile phone users and can work very well with all types of devices. The new Bolt 1.6 is capable of delivering data compression ratio and has the best website rendering feature that can render web pages as also seen on a computer.

Bitstream Inc. notes that “BOLT 1.6 outscores competing mobile browsers earning a perfect 100 percent on the web standards projects’ Acid test. The Acid3 test, created to help browser vendors ensure proper support for Web standards in their products, test web 2.0 dynamic web applications and visual rendering, including web fonts.”

The new BOLT 1.6 browser can now be set as the default browser on BlackBerry Smartphone; this is subject to request by users. The company notes that users of a RIM device can enjoy default BlackBerry shortcuts and optimizations with the browser. Apart from setting the browser to be the default browser for BlackBerry and smartphone, the browser now has a full socket based connectivity for networks, this feature will allow for 15% faster web page rendering and to make the new browser a beautiful and complete mobile browser, Bitstream Inc has added a new password manager. The new 1.6 Browser has been downloaded over 2.8 million times since its launch in February this year. Makers around the world have also selected Bolt as the default browsing solution all over the world.
